Do you guys have favorites? louthewiz 06-21-07, 02:02 PM It depends on the applications and the number of devices you are connecting to your display, Whether it's a plasma projector a crt your budget etc. because prices range from $200.00-$5,000.00 :) justtune 06-21-07, 05:11 PM Whitehorse HQV Digital Projection HQV NEC TheaterSync HQV Algolith Dragonfly HQV DVDO iScan, VP30 and VP50 Lumagen VisionHDQ, HDP & Radiance Pixel Magic VPS3300 So these are stuff I know... Pixel Magic do other units incidentally Gordon justtune 06-21-07, 06:54 PM Thanks for that info. I'm trying to get some feedback and equipment you have experience... Pros and con...If you feel bad about writing the con on the post... you can always PM me... I will put this info into a matrix for everyone to use later in time. tryingtimes 06-22-07, 10:18 AM Writing pros and cons is going to be a near impossible task. If you narrowed it down to a couple of features like; SDdi/HDdi/Gamma correction/SDI/etc, etc, then you might be able to do it, but to be honest, the pros and cons go much deeper than that and the list will be fairly useless to most. For example one feature could be customisable resolutions - some will have it, but not support the particular resolution you wanted (1080sf24 for example). Some will support it but not be able to cadence lock with one particular input device! justtune 06-22-07, 11:18 AM Yes, I know it's going to be a tuff one.... but at the end we can always look at it and say "oh wow we can get that equipment because supported resolution is there or not there and price", it is nice thing to have. Also it could be bad for the manufacturer sale... but also might help them to delvelop better equipment and price. |
