I got a pull down screen free with my projector.. it is an ok screen but way to big. I want to cut it down to size and matte it on some kind of board. Is this ok to do? Any suggestions? What about making a frame to go around it? What do people use?

Check out the DIY screen forum when you get a chance, there's so many ideas in there.

But, yes you should be able to cut it up and mount it. Just do it in a clean environment, measure twice cut once, leave plenty of extra to trim off later, and you can use a multitude of baseboard/chair rail/wood-plastic trims to finish your DIY screen with. You can cover the edge with velvet or several other dark coverings as well. 3M spray adhesive will be your friend and move slowly to keep yourself out of trouble!
