What are people doing to correct lip synch if they use VP for video only for something like an HD DVD player where you want to utilize the analog out directly to receiver?

Stace D_B_0673 06-23-07, 01:21 PM many receivers have audio delay settings (Denon for example) sdlehman 06-23-07, 01:27 PM My Pioneer Elite has delay settings, but I think they are only for the effect channels. Stace mdrew 06-23-07, 04:16 PM That is a problem. Lip sync was killing me slowly by severe irritation when I had the audio going straight into my AVR....most receivers have a delay, but none that I am aware of have multiple delays for numerous inputs, or a delay for analogue inputs. I'm pretty sure the audio stream has to be in a digital form to apply a delay. And even when I would take the time to apply a delay, I never could get it right. And once you notice it’s off, it’ll never be right….or so it seems. I was one happy camper with DVDO fixed the VP50's audio issues with the latest firmware update. All's good now with all my sources.. Barry928 06-24-07, 06:46 PM Has anyone tried this device for analog lip sync adjustment? http://www.ada.net/products/bb/llsm_1.php# |
