I happen to be visiting my cousin in NY this weekend, and IO Cable provides NGCHD. We happened to be browsing through channels last night and stumbled into "Eye of the Leopard" on NGCHD just as it was getting started.
We were immediately intrigued, and proceeded to sit totally enthralled for the next two hours. Every minute throughout we kept looking at each other saying "how the f#$% did they get that shot???"
If you saw "Beavers" in IMAX and wondered how they got those shots, you'll be similarly bedazzled with this 3-year biography of a leopard mother and her daughter. The story is primarily about the daughter.
JUST AMAZING!!! How in the world they got those shots is beyond me, I don't care how many cameras they had involved in the project.
And just as wonderful, the surround sound was totally eerie and superb. You really thought you were in the jungle.
So, here's the strongest recommendation I can make. Don't miss this one (even if you have to watch it in SD).
