I'm upgrading from HTIB to something better, but I'm very new to all this so could someone please tell me which one is "better" - Polk Monotir 70 or RTi 10?

I've got Yamaha 6090, and lisened to both - I seem to like monitors much better, but RTIs appear to have better specs + cost a bit more - so aren't they supposed to be better?

Yes. The RTi line has better drivers, and better cabinets!

well - somehow they didn't sound any better to me - after all the RTi line is like 10 years old, and monitor line is much newer?
