So I am pre-wiring my HT room for a ceiling mounted projector. I have not decided on which projector I will be getting yet. So is there a generally accepted distance from the front screen wall that I should run the wires to?
The screen will be somewhere between 92" to 110".
Not knowing the exact projector I will be getting, I'd like to run the wiring so the projector mount will be suitable for most, if not all, projectors...
Any tips?
Thanks!

How long is your room?
I ran power to 15 feet and 10 feet from the screen. I ran conduit to 15 feet.
I'm currently using a long throw projector. I could've used the cables/power at 15 feet, but decided instead to move power and cables both back around 17 feet.

My room is 20 feet long. The equipment for the projector will be on the back wall.

An important point is that given a fixed screen size, moving the projector closer and zooming out all the way provides a brighter picture than moving the project further away and zooming in. So, you basically want to place your PJ as close to the screen as possible, while staying just within most projector's ability to project your desired screen size when fully zoomed out.
Look up a few of the most popular projectors on http://projectorcentral.com and use the projection calculator. Put in your screen size and zoom out all the way, noting the throw distance. Do the top 5-10 HT PJs and you'll have a good idea of where to mount your PJ. Keep in mind that the throw distance is from lense to screen and PJs vary in size so you want to give a little room for that.
FWIW, I am throwing a 100" wide 16:9 (114.5" diagonal) screen with a Sanyo Z2. I am planning on mounting the projector so its lense is about 11.75' from the screen. This should allow me to upgrade to most any projector and be able to zoom out almost all the way.
