I just rcvd a Zenith 52" LCD HDTV and about 1/3 of the TV area (about middle) thats covered in a blue spot which i can still see through but is annoying and noticable. Also a warning pops up that says "replace bulb" and thats been done. So what could it be now? Model: D52WLCD

Got the same problem. At least mine appear only two years and half later and close to the lamp life... I will change the lamp this week and check if it is the problem but I've been reading about blue ghosts in LG and Zenith sets everywhere and there is even a class action being proposed in another forum... so if yours is new and you can exchange it due it asap.
Tks

My set is a little over 4 years old and the problem started about 6 months ago after changing the lamp. I've searched AVS forums and FixYa.com and the consensus is the color engine has to be replaced. I found a post about an LG branded set where LG sent out a repair technician at their expense. I also found a reference to a Zenith service bulletin Xcute 125 and is titled "LCD engine's UV cut filter application".
I'm sending an email to LG service referencing the service bulletin and bad reputation LG is getting on AVS forum, FixYa and most if not all customer reviews of the product.
Several months ago I filled out the class action form from the site I found referenced in AVS forum but there has been no response.
I'm taking delivery of the my new 60" Pioneer Kuro 1080p plasma on Friday of this week. I bought an additional 5 year extended warranty for a total of 6 years coverage on the new set.
