Hello All,

Are there any problems in bringing a Projector on a 12 hour flight (as hand luggage) - what I mean is, will the bulb explode or be damaged in anyway?

Thanks.

I think he just wants to carry it with him, he must not want it to break by the luggage people. I doubt he is going to actually watch a movie.

I've took my PJ on holiday with me as hand luggage with no problems whatsoever.

I think it is only rational to assume that since he is going to be on a plane, he will not choose to project this movie during flight, unless he is a masochist.

So, a possible alternative should be:

Thanks for the replies - would have replied sooner but did not get any email notification.

Yes that is right - I only plan to carry it with me to my destination - I have no plans on projecting a mini screen on the back of someones seat.

I was only thinking of the (slight?) pressure drop.

The manual does say do not place where altitudes are higher than 10,000 feet - but I guess that means when running the thing. It does not say anything about transporting on a plane. I just wanted to make sure.

Why not just call the manufacturer and ask them?

Guys your all making me laugh, it was a joke, clearly a joke. P.s. how do you think the air freight shipped projectors get shipped?? Also the plane may be at 35,000 ft. but the cabin pressure is below 10Kft.
