Hey guys,
I have always just read on this site, never posted. This is the only place left to ask. I have a HTPC with a geforce fx5200 with DVI out. My TV is a JVC HD-61G887. Im sure most of you know that JVC's PC input is awful only supporting max of 1024 x 768. I want to do this. HTPC-DVI/HDMI cable- HDMI port 1 . But when I plug it in to the HDMI port it acts like the is no signal or sometimes invalid signal. Going thru the HDMI port do I set the Video card to the native res of the TV? or from what I read because of the HDCP nothing over 800 x 600 can be displayed. Any tips would be apperciated. Or if my information is incorrect please let me know.
