Does it put out much heat? My Panny AX100 puts out so much heat it makes the room uncomfortable, this is the first projector Ive had that has done that. Im thinking of going to the Z5 instead, can anyone comment. thanks

I wouldnt imagine the Z5 being so much hotter, maybe its the 2000 lumens that the Panny puts out, thing is a light canon so it probably pushes more hot air, hope that helps you a little...i will say i prefer the sanyos because of their extreme sharpness in the picture! uvellani 06-26-07, 12:46 PM I wouldn't consider this an unusually hot-running projector. I have watched whole movies with the projector sitting at head height on a table next to me. Neither the heat nor the sound was a problem. I now have it ceiling mounted. Holding your hand up to the exhaust vent you do feel the heat, but the rest of the projector feels mostly warm at best. |
