I want to put my center channel on top of my HLN567W but it's so heavy. The Klipsch RC-62 is 8" high and my shelf beneath the TV is only 7". Any suggestions?

Solution: Buy a TV wall mount made for a smaller CRT TV and put your center channel on there. Works perfectly for me. mudfootLgt 06-25-07, 06:59 PM see if there is anyway to move the shelf down by maybe making your own holes and putting your own hardware in to support the shelf cp1966 06-26-07, 12:46 AM I bought a TV wall mount from Best Buy. It is available on line. I forgot the name/model, but I believe it is rated for 100 pounds. Works great. I have a Klipsch RC7 centre speaker and I have it mounted on the wall so it sits just above my Sony SXBR 60" HDTV. I would have liked to have placed the speaker below the TV, but with the Sony stand, that was not an option. Eliab 06-26-07, 08:05 AM sixbone, I too would suggest using a TV wall mount. Besides what's already been mentioned, it also allows the light from a bias light to shine above the set which can be useful. Eliab |
