Anyone know if Big Brother will be in HD? This may be one of my favorite summer shows, and I would love to see it in HD. Also, I heard a rumor of a ShowTime tie in any truth to that?

TitanTV says no HD. I guarantee you that we will see Survivor HD before we see Big Brother HD. As far as the Showtime tie-in goes, every night from midnight-3am EST on Showtime Too will be a live broadcast of the house. It supposedly will not be edited other than for music copyrights and slanderous remarks.

Also, a point worth noting, the executive producer has stepped down and a change in the format has been promised.

Well the old Big Bro lot got converted to a new dual channel HD news studio (Channel 2 & 9) here in LA.

So the old location is state of the art HD :)

I'm watching the British Big Brother 8 and it's in widescreen format SD.

I am watching the season premier of BB8 and it is NOT in HD

I know Big Brother isn't in HD, but I really think that it would be one reality show that could be. Most of the cameras are protected from damage and the elements (unlike Amazing Race and Survivor).

I hope they put it in HD because Big Brother 8 this year is awesome. There are some guys (and gals) who have some incredibly hot bodies. I got worked up watching tonight's episode.

I think the guys would watch BB8...why not....beautiful women and no football to watch. Maybe CBS will announce it for next year.
