I use a URC MRF-300 and Xantech 790-00 connecting block to controll all my components and want to have the Slingbox to communicate to any of my devices without having to add another IR emitter since all my devices have an emitter already connected to them. I've tried all ways to connect the slingbox to the MRF-300 and the 790-00 via a 1/8" mono cable(via a 5/32" adapter) to the slingbox and have not gotten it to work. Anyone get this working or have an idea to make it work?

If you're trying to do an IR passthrough the MRF-300, you can't. Can you parallel the Slingbox with the MRF-300 through the connecting block then control the Slingbox directly from the remote?

Not sure what you mean by parallel the slingbox but I even tried to attach the emmiter from the slingbox to the IR flooder in the MRF-300 (I figured that it would send the IR from the slingbox and repeat it to the device that I am trying to control)

I'm still not sure what you're trying to do, but if it's to route an IR output from the Slingbox to the MRF-300, there's no way to do that. The MRF-300 does not accept IR, only RF from a URC remote. What I meant by parallel (again assuming you're trying to output IR from the Slingbox to other components) was to connect the Slingbox output to the connecting block the same way you have the MRF-300 connected to it.

Yes, I am trying to route the IR from the Slingbox, so it looks like that I will have to make sure all components that I am trying to control are plugged into the the Connecting block and not the MRF-300, I appreciate the info.

I did get it to work, just made sure all the devices that I wanted to control was connected to the Xantech 790-00 and the cable from the Slingbox was connected to the input of the Xantech.
