I hesitate between those products:

- Cambridge Audio DVD 89
- Denon 1930

Which one should I go for? The Cambridge is cheaper than the Denon but, as far as I know, doesn't have the DCDi Faroudja Chipset (the Denon does).

I've read that Cambridge has a lot in common with Oppo, what about that?

What display do you have? Faroudja chips can cause macroblocking errors with some displays, especially plasmas and DLPs.

I have a 37" Samsung LCD HD Ready.

I really wonder if DCDi does really enhance the image quality for that size of screen, but the macroblocking is indeed an issue to take into account.

I haven't heard of MB with LCDs, so Faroudja should be fine for you.
