I applied the following hack on DV7001 and it worked. This hack was initially posted for DV6001 but works perfectly for DV7001. - Power on DVD - Open Disc tray by pressing Open/Close button - Press 9, 9, 9, 9, 0, on the original remote - REGION 0 will be displayed in the left upper corner of the TV screen. - Turn off DVD player Dueling_Cartmans 07-08-07, 10:55 AM Looks like a really nice player, but so expensive for a pure DVD player!
