Just looking for some reviews of the movie. Any feedback would be appreciated.

i just order it on barnes and nobles. i heard it was one of the good gangster movie in their time. i hope blood in blood out comes out on HD-DVD also.

So how is the quality of this release? I like the movie, but I have heard literally nothing about this HD DVD's picture quality.

i haven't had time to watch the movie yet. when i do i will let you guys know.

I got it on monday and watched it for a few days ago, for me the picture is ok.

Its not super quality hd transfer but i liked the quality it was clean so i would give it 3 stars of 5.

Thanks for the info. Did you notice any signs of excessive edge enhancement or compression artifacts?

some scene of the movie the pq was great. the dark scene is really hard to tell. i think the hd picture quality is okay for an old film. 3 out of 5 stars

excessive edge enhancement <- that i dont know what it is if you could explain it to me?

compression artifacts = none not what i could see, it was perfect anyway im happy with my purchase.
