hey everyone, i've got a problem here. so i fired up my xbox last night like i do every night, only this time the screen was for lack of better words, scrambled. i powered on/off the xbox a couple of times and the same thing.

i then tried my cable box components in the input that my xbox was in and it did the same thing. so obviously that particular component input is not working properly.

do these inputs just go bad? and what do you guys suggest as far as fixing it/having it repaird? thanks in advance.

model of the tv is a sony KDF-E42A10 if that helps.
