In the series pilot, relationship coach and dating-guide author Marin Frist (Anne Heche) learns that her fiancé is cheating on her while she travels to Elmo, Alaska, for a lecture. It's a disaster because her pitch is aimed at women, and Elmo's 90 percent male. But Marin needs to chill and, she concludes, learn about men. She's in the right place.

Is this still on? I was beginning to think they cancelled it. I know they said they ordered a full new season but then nothing...

There are five episodes left from last season and 22 ordered for 07-08, so there will be fewer repeats during the upcoming season.

As far as I know none of the remaining new episodes will be shown until the new season starts.

They will be broadcasting reruns on Thursdays during summer, and then will switch to a Friday timeslot in the fall. The 5 episodes that were supposed to be part of the 1st season will be used to start off the 2nd season.

I think next season Marin needs a vacation, maybe Jamaica to start with. Part of the appeal of her character is her odd reactions to new situations. Or maybeI just want to see her in a bikini.

^^^ Better yet, just buy a copy of "Wild Side" then you get a very young Hech, and as a bonus, Joan Chen in the buff.

What a tragic story about the director by the first poster. I'm looking forward the seeing the movie.
