I don't know... I would like to buy/preorder a few movies, but I am not paying that much. At least Universal has an excuse when it puts out combo's.

About time, in all honesty Paramounts titles are the same price as Fox's, and new releases from Sony & Universal (combo discs).

Too bad the movie was horrible. I am unsure if it was suppose to be a comedy, because it sure as heck wasn't funny.

If anyone has paid attention to what a Paramount insider said in other threads, you would realize that TrueHD will be common for future Paramount HD DVD releases. For one, Top Gun and all of the movies in the Jack Ryan collection will have a TrueHD track.

The Amazon.com price is 27.95 which is typical of new releases. Shop around!

i suspect paramount titles are expensive because they use two different transfers for BD and HD , thus costing them twice as much?


in universals case, i dont mind because combos give me (the consumer) an advantage for my $
