Hello All,

I'm considering making the move from cable to E*, but the only thing holding me back is the possible PQ compromise with E* compared to cable. I hear opinions back and forth, but I really want to see E* in action. I have seen D* and am not impressed - is E* comparable?

If anyone knows where I can check it out let me know. Or if anyone who has E* in central Ohio who would be kind enough let me see thier set-up that would be great.

Can't tell you how it compares to cable, but I recently jumped to E* from D*. To me, E* is a bit better in SD PQ. I can't tell how D* HD is, but E* HD is very nice.

I have seen both and frankly I can't tell much difference.

Dish has recently reduced its HD picture resolution to 1440x1080 where 1920x1080 is the maximun possible. However I am told most studios are only capable of 1600x1080 with current equipment available, so Dish is actually pretty close to the best resolution available.

I have had Dish HD since August of 2000 and have been pretty happy with them.
