So regarding audio video stuff, is there anything else that all of us here agree on? :confused:

You need some sort of interconnecting cable to send signals from one piece of equipment to another.

Crap. Well, the audio portion is crap. Might make a decent digital A/V transport. If you can't hear how bad that unit is, you should give up high-end completely and get a Sony receiver.

The Oppo given its price is good, the video portion is superlative , the Audio decent, not top shelf but decent..if you can not hear how decent it is you should give up High End... :p

I believe it, but it's just soooooo stupid. I mean, why start off with crap and add $1000-$1500 worth of mods when you can just get a good machine? One of our customers brought in such a highly modded machine, but it was really bad. Bright, kind of harsh and very noisy compared to even a $500 machine, let alone the NAD M55. He liked the sound because it was bright, but I just thought it was a dreadful waste of money.
