I just got PS3. I can play blu-ray movies: just inserted disk and it started playing. But, after the movie ended, I wanted to see some special features, and I could not figure out how to get to them with sixaxis controller. (I don't have DVD remote.) I was able to invoke the the control menu and then I selected the "top menu" icon. The movie stopped and showed what was available on the disk (special features, scene selections, etc.) But I never figured out how to get to the Special Features folder from there. I tried everything I could think off, but no luck. Can somebody help me to figure out what are the next steps? Thanks

Press the left and right buttons on the d-pad.
You can access the pop-up menu during the movie by pressing square instead of going through the control menu.
I can try using the square tonight and see if it helps. But is there a way to do it with the control panel (with little icons)? I did use left and right buttons and it did navigate through the control panel, but how do I go from there to navigating items on DVD menu and not the icons in the control panel? And how do I select once I found what I want? Sorry if I don't make myself clear..

It sounds like you maybe had a double disc dvd and perhaps there were no special features on the movie disc.

Triangle brings up the menu that functions as the remote (lets call it the function menu). Select top menu using the D-pad and X button. When you are back to the DVD top menu press Triangle again to hide the function menu, now using the D-pad you can move to select the feature you want to see, Press the X button when the feature is highlighted to begin play. As mentioned you can only access features that are included on the disc.
I think I got it. I will try again tonight. Thanks!
