i've been showing outdoor movies for some time now.
if you are near san jose ca, feel free to come on down

my rig is
infocus x1 projector plenty bright
laptop with movies and trailers loaded up
zoomplayer for software- i like the ability to zoom and also move
the image up and down.

ffdshow for tweaking with sound and video
sonic t amp and bose outdoor speakers for sound

screen is a simple white painters drop cloth
pulled tight with a a basic rope, and pulley system.

it works really well and i encourage everyone to give it a try.
my wife and i settle on a schedule and then just email
out friends and family to come on by.
