Hey Gents (and Gals),

Let's start an AVS frag night once or twice a week on Vegas. Anyone interested? We'd just have to coordinate what time we wanted to play and what night. We also need to post PSN ID's here so those interested in playing can be invited. I figure if we set nights, we can use this thread to determine who will be hosting those nights and what time we want to get started. Since there is no lobby system as of yet, we'll have to be strict on time so all who want to play can get invited to the games. We can be as formal or informal about winning and losing as you want!

You're not really toast without a headset, but it does help. I think as more and more people pick up the title headsets will become a bigger deal, but as of right now I've actually been turning my headset off in some games because there's no strategy being used on anything. Just people breathing heavily. LOL.

I work rotating 12's so I'm not able to give definite times. I do get spare time after 9:30 pm when the wifey's at work and the kids are asleep.

I do have a headset.

Thursdays between 7:00-11:00 pm work best for me. But I know that's TV time for many people.

Alright! I gave up on trying to buy from this one guy on craigslist who kept changing his mind, but the game is on its way home from target...should be just enough time to practice before getting railed by the rest of you (I was never good at rfom, so this will probably be worse).

id love to pickup a copy vegas and join you guys. but i just bought a 40" samsung LCD as well as a couple shirts and HDMI cables, so money is a little tight right now. i'd also like to try the darkness and NGS is coming out soon... ugh, my wallet is going to be hurting.

As for game modes, we can figure out who's interested in what when we get the chat going. At some point down the line, I think it be fun to start our own little AVS RV6 League, complete with teams and standings. We could have a draft of players and everything. I'm toying with the idea of just using something like a Blogger blog to be our information hub. We can gather interest for something like that tonight as well.

We could also create an AVS clan at gamebattles.com and have a rotating roster. So many possibilities when you have a game that is this much fun!

anyone still checking this right now? Ive gotten 2 "game invite messages" but I can only see them from my XMB - and can't respond and join that game. It seems like they're being sent "in-game" but there's a spot for "community in game messages" and I have none. Weird. what a noob i am

unfortunately I am out of town on business right now, but I'll bb on Tuesday and I'll be off for a whole week and I plan on spending alot of time learning the maps on this game. So I'll be on throughout the week and try to meet up with everyone.

Also would definately love to join an avs forum league. I have a clan from Socom:Combined Assault and the few of us that have ps3's have been chomping at the bit to get a realistic shooter! I'll keep checking in and like I said Tuesday I will start sending invites out.

Got a copy today. Still learning it but should be ready in a day or two.

The AVS party was a great time. Very interesting game online vice the run and gun of FoM. I like the online multiplayer interface. I had my doubts about it after reading the first owner reviews. I did get kicked to the XMB twice. They (Ubi) have to fix that, cause it really sucks having to reload the game.

Success! What a great time to play with all who could make it last night. We'll have to figure out what our official nights can be and of course now we can play with one another any time!

I apologize that I kept getting booted. I took my PS3 with me to my sister-in-laws in Atlantic City and was riding the neighbors wi-fi. I was only getting about 40% according to my PSP connection. When I got home last night and played it was much better, even though I did get booted once.

Anyone else just get logged out of the PS Network ramdomly? This happened to me once last night.

Look forward to more AVS playtime, so when you get the time and date finalized let me know.

I have a bunch of AVS people on my friends list now so when I am playing and people are needed to fill a game I send out invites. So if you see one from me thats why.
