hi i bought this tv for my bedroom picture was great but it had a blue light on when set was off was like a very bright night light, i exchanged for a panasonicplasma42px75ua. I cannot believe the picture was 50% better on samsung it blows it away both yd and sd i returned the panne for the sammy what a difference my question is why does the panne get great reviews when the sammy is better. also i went to cc where they had both tvs next to each other to recomfirm and it was the same thing sammy much much better detail color and blacks thank you billy7

The panny fan boys made the $1300 to $2500+ investment likely based in part on Consumer Reports. They are therefore reluctant to admit that their PQ isn't state of the art anymore. Maybe 5 years ago that was true.
As a Sammy owner I naturally agree with you. In fact I don't even mention the Pannies in comparison. I generally compare it to the Pioneers. When I bought my Samsung it was based on the fact that it's PQ was better than the Pioneers it was next to in BestBuy's Magnolia showroom.
BTW, if you haven't found this yet, the blue power light can be disabled in the menu.
hi discopaul how do i turn blue light off on samsung. thank you bill
