I have a 42" Panasonic hanging on the mount now and just bought a TH-50PZ700U but the bottom of the new TV looks big. Will the mount I have now work or should I head out early in the morning and by a new mount?

The U3 will work fine it's even listed on the omnimount website as compatible with your plasma.

The U3T will be a perfect solution for the 50PZ700U. Have you looked into an articulating mount for your application? The wave of the future aren't traditional flat or tilt wall mounts. Now everyone is turning to articulating mounts for its viewing versatility.

Just got it on the wall. I would have liked it a bit higher but the mounting bracket would be a real pain to move so I'm gonna live with it the way it is. The cabinet just makes it under the TV.
