I was at one of my local hifi audio shops and they had a dvd of a robot or something running around a THX symbol, crashing all over the place and what not. It just showed how immersive a surround sound environment could be. Anything like that out there?

That is a trailer (one of many) for THX and can be found on some DVDs transferred by THX. I think it is on CARS.

The best one they did was on the Star Wars films - the exploding sphere called "Cavelcade"...

DTS makes a new one every year and they are distributed at the trade shows.
