If I stream music from a Bluetooth device or to a bluetooth device does the playing devices' cpu decode the stream or does the device sending the stream decode it. I have a stereo bluetooth phone and I bought a stereo bluetooth car radio. I can play my music from my phone over the car stereo but I was curious who was doing the decoding. The car stereo can decode wmv and mp3 which is what the files are in. I realize the car stereo hardware is controling volume and amps and such but does the phone chop off highs and lows and such or does it just send the raw music data and let the car decode it?
