Is one better to go with a Plasma or an LCD? I have asked numerous reps at retail stores and I get mixed answers...I am hoping that I can get a non-biased answer on here...I have been told that an LCD will produce blur while watching football and hockey....I am about to pound my head against the wall deciding which technology I should go with. Thanks

LCDs are good...but not for watching sports on a big screen. I had a 52" LCD, but had to take it back because the motion blur was much too bothersome. Don't pound your head over which technology to get for sports...its a no brainer, plasma is way to go. However, deciding which plasma is an obstacle of its own. :D

Plasma all the way, especially if gaming is only occasional. The only reason to worry about gaming and a plasma is if thats basically all you do.
