I'm trying to find the days with free stuff.

So far, I've only found the 2 Ridge Racer posters (January 18) and Dante figurine from Devil May Cry (June 27).

Anyone know of any other free items?

I have a Ridge Racer car (looks nice on the fridge, and Toro actually plays with it once in a while!) several posters including one with the female in Tekken (I think--I'm not much into fighting games), and a bunch of pennants from the "Golden Week" when they had other characters (like the rabbit) visit Toro's room.

Just watch them all already. :)

Mainichi Issho is a free "game" in the Japanese PSN store. Your character is Toro, a cat. You can play a bunch of brain age-esque type games, decorate the room, put the cat in what ever costume you buy from the PSN store.

You also can watch the daily news, where the cats give you random news, sometimes they have interactive trivia while they are telling you the news. Afterwards, they ask you how good the information the gave you. Afterwards, you have a wheel-of-fortune type chance of winning food for the cat that you can feed it.

It's pretty simple to play. I can't read Japanese very well, but you can figure things out through trial and error. There are a few default items that you get to decorate the apartment, but you also get some free stuff when you watch certain news casts. So far, all I've found was 2x Ridge Racer 7 posters and a Devil May Cry action figure.

You have to create a Japanese account on your PS3 and connect to the server while on your Japanese account. Once you've done that, you can play from your main account.

Thanks. I went through 2 months of archives (which isn't that much since they drop all the irrelevant stuff), and it took awhile. I wanted to focus on just finding the free stuff then sitting through all of the crap. It's a lot of button pushing.

I'll look for the Tekken news post. I'm assuming the "Golden Week" thing is over and done with and can't get anymore stuff?

You'll need to make a new 'Master account'. Then you main account is just your Sub account. Its really kinda easy.. Entering the address is a li'l tricky" LoL

I think you can automate the button pushing if you want. It's the bottom item of the main menu, and then the second from the top on the settings menu.

Oops sorry, I think it was Ninja Gaiden Sigma. The lady's name is "Rachel". The "Golden Week" is the first week of May when there is a cluster of national holidays. Toro was sleeping in his room and had lots of visitors, who seem to bring pennants of their own chracter. I think they all come from the PSP game "Itsudemo Issho". Unless you want pennants of the rabbit or the robot, you don't need those. The Golden Week programs are still available in the May archives.

I took summer intensive Japanese. I passed and was able to graduate college. But, I sucked at it. I was just lucky that so did the rest of the class. Besides, my fiance taught English in Japan for 4 years and tries to help, but can't read the Kanji or complicated words.

I swear to god I was looking all yesterday and did not see a May. Then, suddenly I got an update today and now I have May. But not June...is there a June archive yet?

I found a user gametrailer video last night regarding Mainichi Issho and Ninja Gaiden Sigma. The news report was, indeed, spelled out as NINJA GAIDEN SIGMA and was posted early June. It appears I missed the post.

Gotcha on the user prompt. But, does it wait 5 seconds at each X mark? Or just 5 seconds the first time and then auto continues without user prompt?

Watch the news blurb from the Devil May Cry post in late June, first 4 days of May, mid post in January, and watch the blurb about the new store.

You should have 2 Ridge Racer posters, 4 pennants, Devil May Cry statue, and a toaster. Apparently, there's a Ninja Gaiden Sigma poster from June 8th or so.

You can also achieve a bunch of free items by getting good at the RPG final battle. It's tough at first, especially if Japanese is not your native language, but it's doable.

Now I need to get a PlayStation Card to buy some mini-games. As fun as the default set is, I need something more.

It only gave me one chance to get the posters for VF5. So, I only got one out of 2. I also cannot figure out how to get the Ridge Racer 7 R/C car, as I didn't receive this when I attempted to go back to the RR7 post.

Found the RC car.

It's in the March 08 update.

Also, in the new Daily store news section, this week and last week were special food items. Last week was melon bread. This week is curry bread.

Still waiting on the June archive so I can confirm the Rachael poster.

I started watching them last night, so I'm not sure about that. I found out through PS3 Fanboy that trophies were being offered. 7 trophies for button mashing?! I'll take em!

You can set your game to auto click X after 5 seconds. I usually have one going while I cook dinner or view a broad cast and walk away.

I'd just mash X while they went through their dialogue and SMACK! one cat would smack the other. Occasionally a frog, dog, or a robot would be a guest on the show and SMACK! They'd get hit too. funny stuff:p
