I am considering a Mac Mini as a HTPC. I want to be able to record NTSC and ATSC on the mini, but the EyeTV hybrid looks like it can only accept either terrestrial HDTV or analog tv but not both at the same time. I have basic cable and a HDTV antenna. I want to feed both into the EyeTV. Is this possible?
The Miglia TVmini HD does what you want. However, it no longer comes with El Gato's EyeTV software. I don't know what software it uses since I got mine before El Gato & Miglia parted ways.

As far as I know, neither the EyeTV Hybrid or the Miglia TVmini HD/HD+ will connect to NTSC and ATSC at the same time. You'll have to connect/disconnect to switch the source feed, which can range from inconvient to deal-breaker.
Maybe the HD Homerun will work ... I remeber seeing (2) coax inputs on the back of it. Not sure if it does NTSC.
Also, if you are OK with using QAM, then the Miglia TVmini HD+ may be up your alley. The single coax input can accept NTSC/ATSC/QAM. So with your basic cable feed, you may be able to record analog cable channels and un-encrypted digital (including local HD) channels. As mentioned above, Miglia devices don't come with EyeTV software anymore.

Elgato hybrid only accepts one at a time, either analog cable or ATSC.
Miglia TVminiHD only does ATSC or QAM.
Miglia TVminiHD+ (which has not been released) does analog cable, ATSC, or QAM. Its most likely going to support one at a time as well. Also, this device has been delayed from release numerous times, so don't believe the expected date.
Miglia no longer provides eyetv, but you can purchase eyetv from elgato which has support for TVminiHD, but not for TVminiHD+.
You can always purchase two tuners, one for analog and the other for HD. There are some users that have done that.

I had thought about this solution. The mac will and EyeTV accept two USB drives one for NTSC and the other for ATSC?

There is rather limited support for dual tuners. Here is some reading on the issue, I can't recall all the details.
El Gato Hybrid eats up USB 2.0 BW - no dual ANALOG tuners (http://www.123macmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9419&highlight=hybrid)
dual tuners...again (http://www.123macmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9801&highlight=hybrid)
