I have not been using my OTA receiver much of late. For the last several days, I noticed, for the first time, repeated weak signal messages on my Samsung for the NBC digital stations (4-1). Before the agony of checking on my antenna, I thought I would check to see if there is a source problem.

Is there a problem with the NBC digital signal in NYC?

I live in southern Westchester (just few miles north of the city/Bronx line with a clean shot toward midtown). Am using a big old channel master that has been delivering strong signals for years.

Might investigate whether any problems are related to WNBC-DT's multicasting. I've noticed HD-related NYC NBC complaints in various AVS forums apparetly linked to this. -- John
