Hello all. I have a harmony 885 (which is the same as the 880 i think) and it works perfectly.

however, i've noticed that when i go into the device specific controls for my TV (sony xbr lcd) the remote displays a list of functions called "input 1", "input 2" etc. These let me switch straight to an input source.

How do i program the remote to use these functions when starting activities rather than cycling through the input sources until it gets the one it wants? going straight to a particular source was not a feature availiable on the original remote so i can't really make the Harmony learn it.

Go to "Adjust Inputs" for the TV device and tell it you go directly to the input you want. Assign the input commands as required.
