Sonofa...

What is the deal with all of these great movies being announced in Europe? Where are the U.S. announcements?!

Thanks for the info though. Looks like another I'll likely be importing unless we hear some news about a Region A version in the meantime.

hopefully they did a new master, my SD dvd is almost unwatchable because of the horrible EE on a 60inch screen.

Check out Play.com for a huge list of yet to be announced titles.

I can only assume Blu-ray are planning a huge US announcement soon.

Do they? If they do, it's mine.

So will region coding prevent USA users from getting these titles?

I freaking hate region coding arrrrg.

I heard a BD guy call it a FEATURE on here once

Plenty of UK discs have no region coding like Hostel, The Rock, Crimson Tide. Don't see why these catalog titles would be any different. Also, I would imagine that we'll probably be getting announcements on these for the U.S. at the same time, so there's probably no need to import.

Friends in the U.S should cool down a bit. Remember Hi-Def buffs in other countries were put on starvation for a long period for the sake of penetrating the format in the U.S market. There is no doubt the U.S will see a plethora of titles by end of this year surpassing the combined number of hi-def titles released in other countries.

No offense.

I hope you're right. I admit to being a bit spoiled when it comes to HD content and that doesn't stop me from wanting more. :)
