This evening when I came home from work I turned on my system and got this notice from the Cox Cable box that says:

Copy Protection: The DVI/HDMI is blocked, press EXIT to CANCEL, when I press EXIT, another screen pops up saying DVI Alert, Your HDTV does not support HDCP. Please use the YPrPB component cable to watch TV.

WTF is this all about? I've had this setup since I bought the projector over a year and half ago.

My equipment is as follows: SP4805 projector, SA Explorer 3250HD, Cox Cable, HDMI Switcher from Monoprice

My question, is something wrong with my projector? Or has Cox Cable completely blocked the HDMI connection port.

I hope this is the appropriate place to post this because I really wasn't sure.

Does it still happen if you remove the HDMI switch and go directly to the TV from the 3250?
Try unplugging the HDMI switch (if powered) and the STB from the wall (power) for a few minutes.

I did exactly as you said and everything worked fine. So I set everything back up the way I had it before and everything worked fine. I think the cable going into the projector came loose or something. But everything is fine now. Thanks Ratman. :) :)
