Just a few lines to say that I have installed a Beamax Projector lift in a standard UK floor space (9 inches or 22.5 cm). I bought it directly from them for around GBP 700, which considering the nearest offering in the market being in the GBP 2000 area it is quite a bargain.
Here are the pictures I made...

Although these are a few issues with the wire rollers the product is excellent.

Very nice.
Interesting idea for projector storage. Is it difficult to line up with screen each time you lower the mount?

Not really, it uses one of those Somfy motors which you often seen in motorised screens, so it has adjustable limiter switches. I have run it on a test rig in the other room and once set it doesn't need to be adjusted further.
Must say that I am quietly impressed. Granted its nothing that a competent hobbyist couldn't make himself, but its good nontheless.

Great stuff Andrew. I have been thinking about buying the Beamax lift so it is quite useful to see pics of an install. How have you found it performs now that you have been using it for a while. Any problems?
You mentioned about the wire rollers. What were the issues?
Cheers
