Hi!

I'm looking for the right media player. I have a ReadyNAS+ with some ripped DVDs and all my music (it is my iTunes repository). I have a couple of questions.

1. Does the 4100 require a hard drive to operate? I ask this given that I have all my media on the NAS.

2. How does the 4100 (or 4000 for that matter) work with playlists? Is it possible to have it use the same playlists I have in iTunes? If not, what is the process that has worked best for you? Of course, ideally I would like to have one set of playlists only.

yes it supports palylists m3u for sure, not certain about other formats, no NAS here (yet) so cant confirm support playlist off NAS
