It costs me about $40 dollars to get the original factory remote , but I would still end up buying one of those $29.99 learning sony vl600 & have it learn the factory HT-q70 codes so I can have 1 remote for (tv,cable box & htib)

So instead of spending $70 for 2 remotes (the factory & the sony learning) I thought I would just spend $75 dollars for a better remote that would work out of the box with my Samsung HT-Q70.

I have tried several universal controls & none of them work with the HT-Q70.

Any suggestions?

Will the Sony RM-AV3000 work out of the box with the HT-Q70? a buddy is selling me his for $50.
