Looking for an outdoor antenna that can be mounted to a dish network DP500 satellite dish. Any ideas? Thanks!

KMBC is staying on VHF-HI after D-day.

Mounted TO the dish ? Forget it. Mount it outside on it's own mast. You might be able to get away with an attic installation, assuming your attic is suitable.

Appropriate antenna - I'd recommend the CM 4221 in your case, maybe a combo VHF / UHF antenna if you want the analogs right now as well, Plan on a rotator, although you MIGHT be able to just aim at 40 degrees and call it good.

You are right, "mount to the dish" was bad wording. Something that somehow connects to the mast of the satellite dish. Wanting this kind of set up to make the cable run nice and simple, don't want to have to run cables into the attic. Thanks for the ideas.

With a good tuner, you might be able to get away with no rotator.
