Hello,
I tried to search the forum and could not find any information on this. I recently purchased two snap frames from Stargate Cinema. I would like to create light boxes for these. Has anyone done this and if so, do you have any photos?
Thanks,
Ryan

Ryan,
I hope you like the frames. There was a member that did this exact project with our frames and rope light but I am unable to find it via a search. His project turned out very nice. You may find this thread helpful for the time being:

I'm going to look through my emails now to see if I can find the person that did this and will post the link if I find it. Hopefully he will see this post and reply in the mean time.

Ryan,
If you would, post some pictures here or the other thread linked above. Always looking for ways to improve!

I built some lightboxes myself and was very disappointed in the light output of rope light. My recommendation would be to build them using fluorescents. I ended up buying all the parts separately (ballasts, sockets, bulbs, etc.), but have seen cheap fixtures at the big box stores that would work just as well. (The stores near me didn't have 36" fixtures in stock at the time and I was under a tight deadline by the Mrs.) Turned out a few bucks cheaper in the end as well and the light output is much brighter.
