A friend has an original xbox w/ a few games. I don't care about the games, but would consider hacking it w/ XBMC to play around...

What's a reasonable price? Is $90 high?

I figure I'll also need to shell out for a mod kit or a game that can be soft-modded (I'm sure they're not cheap).

I paid 95.00 shipped for mine on ebay. However it had 4 controllers, the dvd remote, and the component cable kit.
