This is a nice catalog title I'd like to see in HD and have not heard even a rumor about it. Anyone know if it is being worked on? It's a WB film so should come out on both Formats?

Should be available on both formats when it's released but I haven't heard anything yet. My understanding is that the idea of a sequel has been floating around. If that happens then they'll probably both films at the same time.

That could be interesting if they keep the same type of atmosphere, where did you hear about a sequel? I'd like to read up about it.

Just do a search, Lost Boys sequel, it going to be direct to DVD, but none of the actors from the first one are going to be in it.

Didn't they kill everybody off except for Michael and his little brother..?!?!

and yes, I'd love to get this in HD. The recent SE dvd looked great so there probably is already a good master done just a few years back.

This title won't be out until 2009... Just a guess of course... :)

Imho Studios that try to recreate the atmosphere of the Original that don`t use at least a few of the original actors, or Director, and whose product goes straight to DVD rarely hit the mark. I hope they don`t blow it.
