Hi,
To any kind soul out there who owns the popular Showtime Seats (LINK (http://www.htauthority.com/index_files/ShowTimeCollectionDetail.htm), can you please take a measurement for me?
I need you to please sit on the chair, and rest your feet on the floor comfortably, normal sitting position with feet slightly extended out as you normally would sit. (Do not extend the recliner out).
Then I need the exact measurement from the back of the seat on the floor, all the way to the tip of your shoes on the floor.
I need this to design my riser depth.
Thanks in advance!!!

Shameless bump.
Anyone, please?
gnolivos,
59" or so... depends on shoe size but seriously it is a key point:) I'm not sure i would design the riser this way however...Are you planning on not reclining the rear row of seats?
How i got that measurement: 40" total seating depth accounting for the 4" curve, 9" for foot placement in a comfortable non reclining position and 10" for the shoe size= 59". Hope this helps

Thanks Power..
Did you calculate this, or did you actually mark your feet on the ground and measure? Want to make sure you do this while seating on the actual seats, rather than taking the known measure, plus your estimated footprint etc. In could make a few inches difference...
Thanks!

that's the calculation for someone with a good sized foot, the 9" foot placement may be a bit much, but it depends on the person and how long the legs are...
actual measurement for me with shoes on is 56.5" but i have smaller feet as well.

Thank you Power. I will use these numbers for my calculations, and add some padding to it.

I was wondering if anyone else out there with BLACK Showtime Coasters has noticed the recliner 'lever' (thing you pull on the armrest to make it recline) is colored BROWN.
Its my only pet peeve... I love the seats, but the levers look completely out of place. They're brown, and they're faux wood to make it worse.
Did they use to have black levers, or have they always been brown like this? I think I've seen pictures of the Showtimes with black levers...
Thanks!

My levers are black and they're NOT faux wood.

That's what I figured. So what's going on here? Im not too happy with the look of this, it is totally out of place. Serge, can you chime in?
