Hi all,
I'm using a Harmony 659 to try and control my HTPC. I purchased a MCE remote purely for the USB IR receiver. Anyhow, I've got it mostly working, with a couple of quirks:

1) When I go to "More Activities" -> "Media Center PC" (I renamed the Generic Activity), things go on as expected, but the remote's LCD menu is blank. I instead need to hit "Device" -> "Next" -> "Media Center PC" to bring the actual MCE device options up on the LCD screen. I want it to go there automatically like all of my other activities do. However, I cannot see how to easily set this in Harmony software...

2) When switching away from the "Media Center PC" activity, my XBOX 360 power cycles. Is there any way around this?

Thanks!

I use a 659 to control my HTPC.
I used the Watch a Movie activity. I use Media Portal, so I set it up as such. If you use Media Center, tell it you use that.
Using the MCE remote as a reference, I set up the screen buttons with matching buttons. Perhaps the setup you used only uses the hard buttons & you need to customize the buttons to suit you & that's why the screen's blank.
As for the Xbox cycling, I don't have one, but there's options as to whether devices need to be shut off. Maybe this will fix it.

Yeah, the 360 is set to "Device is off" in Harmony software. One thing I noticed is that when you do an activity like "Watch TV" it has a pretty basic menu come up for my SA 8300HD box with no "Next" options for more. If you actually hit "Device"->"Set top box" it has many more options. So what I'm guessing is that this blank menu of mine can be setup somehow with some often-used buttons, but I'm having trouble figuring out where...

Okay, they changed the webpage.
In the Activities column, select 'Customize' for the activity you want.
Then select 'Change the Behaviour of Buttons'.
On the next page, select the 'Additional Buttons' button.
Each group of six represents a page. I don't have mine set up to use all six buttons (the top 2 are wasted with 'Watch A Video'), so the last 2 of the first group & the first 2 of the second group form a page.
Select 'Media center PC' for the device & then select a command for each button. If I remember correctly, the display button are numbered across & down, like a book:
1 2
3 4

5 6
1 2

3 4
5 6
