If they ever have a mmo on the 360 that is built/optimized (basically macro and text input) around the add on messenger kit I'll gladly pick it up. Until then it doesn't really interest me. I was hoping for $20 but if there is a game that I love, that fully utilizes it, I will gladly drop $30 on it.

I'm not paying $29 for that. I'm sure someone, maybe Amazon, will have it for around $19.99 soon after it's released. $20 is the limit for an Xbox 360 keyboard.

I think it's actually reasonably priced. I was sure they'd try and charge upwards of $49.99 for it in fact.

I guess I'd get this if I didn't have a laptop that I can talk to people on IM with.

Rather than sending MSN IM's with this, I'd use it to send regular messages to other people on Live. Instead of "?" for an invite, I could now actually ask a question. Or I could use it for typing in file names for Forza 2 custom tuning setups for cars. :)

But IM on the XBox? No thanks. I have too many computers with Windows messenger clients on them that kick the 360 off IM all the time.

Anywhere text entry is required it will work.

I don't have a use for it. I guess for those that do, it's pretty reasonable.

Been waiting for this for a while. Voice messaging is nice but not always the best option for me. I also get sick of pulling out the keyboard or typing in messages. I'll gladly pay $30 for it.
