Hello.
I need to run an analog stereo signal a good 50' or maybe more up through the attic and then down into the other room. I am trying to connect two receivers via either the preouts else the CD-Out RCA ports on the source receiver.
From some searching around the web it looks like RG59 coaxial is the way to go and then to use plug adaptors to screw RCA plugs onto the F-type ends. I would need to run two lengths of coax but that would still be cheaper than one length of super long audio patch cord I would think and should be better shielded for the distance.
Anyone have other thoughts on this? or is coax the standard way to go for long analog audio hauls between receivers?
Thanks everyone.
