I always liked Civilization. This game looks like it could be pretty cool. Maybe a surprise game I could have some fun with.

civilization was always great on pc. hopefully it wont get to dumbed down for console.

As a simcity fan (on a Mac), I have been waiting to a chance to get into Civ. I'm in for this.

I'm not into Sim type games, but I like civilization and I'm looking forward to setting on the couch and taking over the world.........

I am a huge fan of the Civ series. I am gladly awaiting this. Should be interesting to see how the game translate to the console. I am hoping that the online multiplayer will be well executed.

Civ is turned based so I don't see any reason why they would have to dumb it down.

The multiplayer alone will probably make this a worthwhile title. Check out the GameSpot Stage Demo (http://www.gamespot.com/video/941685/6175121/videoplayerpop?rgroup=e32007_videos). The Civilization formula is being made "accessible" for the consoles but with Sid Meier's direct involvement the core should remain intact. There will be less micro-managing and the game's pacing is being increase quite a lot. I think those are good things.

Trust me if it is anything like the Civ PC games you'll love it! SimCity and Civilization are my top 2 game franchises. I can't wait for this game. :D
