Regarding Video Quality

I would like to know what the video quality is with the mac mini or Imac.

How does it compare to using an Oppo 971?
Dvd's will be straight iso rips not recompressed.

OK, in terms of dvd playback.

The Oppo will do a noticeably better job upconverting dvds.

That was my experience with Windows htpc also.
I think I will wait for Leopard.
I was reading about it's DVD Player abilities here on the forum.

I had the Oppo with my 62 inch DLP before I got my mac mini. Once I plugged in my mini - I put the Oppo in the closet - and haven't missed it at all. ( calibrated the mini to the tv as best as my amateur eyes could do... ) I think it looks great.
