Anyone else think the new footage was spectacular? I'm reffering to the short bits at the MS confrence. IMO it's looking close to what we saw in the FFXIII vid.

I'd say it matches FFXII more than IX. FF9 had the the small peolle and overly european fable architecture(supposedly it's one of the best FF's though).

I'm just talking about how in FFIX they moved to more realistic dark looking characters (or maybe it was XIII). In my RPG's, I enjoy something a bit more surreal. Mass Effect looks realistic, but still has a really cool scifi surreal look to it, I'm not in the the look of Lost Odyssy. Either way, it looks fun and a couple of the shots had some beautiful backgrounds, which is one my the most important thing for open RPGs.

Sounds like they scored an excellent voice actor for Kaim.

He sounded so cool just saying "I don't know" when the emperor-guy asked him how he survived the meteor.
