Teamhood 07-11-07, 06:37 PM that is awesome... now if they could just do a whole live Phish show.... how amazing would that be (for us Phish heads...)
But the entire album... that is awesome!
jasonstiller 07-11-07, 07:06 PM Or some of what every rocker wants: Metallica, ac/dc. you know the hard stuff!!!
whiskey > work 07-11-07, 07:20 PM maybe this classic will make the final list

Please, oh please: One....FTW!
I have a feeling this is going to be the most rock-a-licious game. Ever.

HMX said their working onj a "lot" of metallica so I wouldn't be surprised.
logicalnoise 07-11-07, 11:15 PM Way to blow RO out of the water. Full albums with the first available the week of the games release is terrific. Plus they start off with arguably one of the best albums ever. Damn it's like I'm not even paying them 200 bucks to play it. It just is.
spinksjinx 07-11-07, 11:16 PM 20 bucks a week in downloadable content sweet!
Hmmm. I wonder if they would pay the royalties to have some Beatle classics?
HeadRusch 07-12-07, 11:21 AM Eh the problem is that full albums are hit or miss. I'd have no desire to download Who's Next even if it were free, its just not my sound.
On the other hand, I'd probably buy Master Of Puppets at just about any price.
I'm surprised at the choice of the first announced album...Whos Next is an album that is going to appeal mostly to guys in their late 40's right now...

the last song of the album is on the disc so kids who play it will know what to expect with the album.
HorrorScope 07-12-07, 12:04 PM IMO it seems a lot of people here should be considering Frets on Fire for the PC, a ton of songs are available and there is an editor available to make your own tablature for any song in existence. The 360 guitar and the others all work via USB on the PC.

I don't have a terrific gaming oc but it can run quite a few games reasonably well, but frets on fire ran like crap on whateever setting I sued and most of the custom charts people make suck. Plus the lack of drum and voice support(that's what people are so excited over). What's funny is that those custom charts play 10x better when imported into a hacked GH disc image.

...ehhh, maybe early 40s. :D
wilson10 07-12-07, 12:37 PM nah, not even Early 40's..........late 20's with a taste for music :D. This is a great album and should be fun as hell to play!! Personally, I can't wait, and with Metallica on board GHIII might just be skipped by me. I doubt it as it will be fun too and will just add to the songs to mess with.

Most...expensive...game...EVER!
Shizelbs 07-12-07, 03:04 PM Well, they've made promises for GH2 that they haven't kept, so cross your fingers that it is true. I really hope it is. It would be a phenomenal feature. I think if they provide as much content as they say they will, it could be one of the best gaming experiences of all time.

EA has its hand in Rock Band...I have full faith in DLC. :D

Could be an understatement...When its all said and done it could equal out to about the price you paid for your console.

I'd give my left nut to play Four Horseman for 7+ minutes....but One would be fantastic!
